Roding Primary School Dagenham: Six-Week Summer Construction Programme Progress Update

Following completion of the school term, we are excited to announce that we have started 6 weeks possession over the summer break at Roding Primary School, Cannington Road, Dagenham.

A lot is happening across the site, with works progressing across three key areas:

Area A – Layout reconfiguration works are progressing, including extensive modifications to the existing CLT structural frame to suit the new forming of 2no. classrooms, pupil WC’s, group room, reception office and nursery entrance.

Area B – Within the Mezzanine and Main Hall areas, classrooms are being reconfigured to create new offices for the Senior Leadership Team with drylining and MEP alterations well underway with existing grid and tile ceiling with a replacement perforated ceiling finish.

Area C – Internal fitout works are progressing with the MEP, sprinklers, carpentry and decorations packages. Windows, External Doors and Single ply roofing system have been completed. Façade installation is being finalised with commencement of the install of the Benx rainscreen panel system ahead of scaffold removal.
