Inspiring the Next Generation at Southend Theatres
We were delighted to recently welcome college students on-site at Southend Theatres for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the latest refurbishment progress.
During the guided tour, students had the opportunity to see first-hand the work being carried out at the Cliffs Pavilion. Our team shared insights into the refurbishment project, the different stages of construction, and the wide range of skills, expertise and career opportunities involved in bringing a live venue refurbishment of this scale to life.
It was a fantastic opportunity for students to explore the construction industry, ask questions and gain a closer look at the creative and technical work that takes place behind the scenes. From construction and design to project management and specialist trades, projects like this demonstrate the variety of career paths available across the industry.
